This folder has sample files which can be used to test the bore-hole data input tools from the
Geological and Mininng module of GeoTools.

This is a brief decscription of the files found in this folder.

1. BoreHole_Collar_Data_template.csv

A sample CSV file which contains the Eastings, Northings and Heights (RL) of all the collar point
locations of the bore-holes, along with other data like Strike, Azimuth, Depth of boring etc.
This file is used as input to the GEOL_STRATABUILDER command (for the third option, linear representation).

2. BoreHole_Seams_Data_template.csv

A sample CSV file which contains the strata or seams information. As single strata file can (and should)
have multiple seams data in the format shown in the file.
The other data in the file include the 'From' and 'To' depths of the seams, and the options thickness of seams.
This file is used as input to the GEOL_STRATABUILDER command (for the second option, hatch representation).

3. Dredging_Bore_Hole_Data_Template_Multi_Sheet.xlsx

We built our dredging data processing module based on a sample provided to us by one of the leading
dredging consultants in India. However, the format is very flexible and can be adopted by anyone. You just need
to specify the column poositions of the various data. The only caveat is that the XSLX file must contain botehole
data belonging to each bore-hole in a separate sheet which has the botehole name as the sheet name.
This file is used as input to the GEOL_STRATABUILDER command (for the fourth option, dredging data procesing).

4. Mining_Bore_Hole_Data_Template_Single_Sheet.csv

In this format, all borehole data is available in one single sheet. The column positions indicate wihch data
is available in which column. The strata is shown using a collection of blocks.
This format was devised on a bespoke basis for a company which used blocks to represent the strata. An inspiration
of the same has been provided in GeoTools as the blocks model of representing the strata is not bad either, and can
be looked at as an alternative way of draiwng instead of hatches.
